Soccer - with Stefan in German

Explanation of soccer drill in our spacious gym

Soccer is one of the best sports for improving children’s social skills. Communication and cooperation are vital for playing the game and passing the ball. Children also improve their teamwork skills and often make great friends at the same time. In this class they will learn the basic skills of the game in a fun and engaging way that helps to improve agility and teach fair play and sportsmanship.

Language Arts - GERMAN and New: a 2 hour MANDARIN class

Language acquisition and support through games, story time, art activities, play and music. Children learn through play and when they are having fun and with the variety of activities in this class there is something for every type of learner.

Piano

In the course of the school year we learn to play easy pieces on the piano with both hands (e.g. "Brother Jakob" and the like), by ear and, over time, also by reading notes. Rhythm is an important part of music. We will learn and deepen this through various games (e.g. clapping, drawing, etc.). The group lessons are ideal for making music together at a young age and for playing easy pieces for piano four hands. Another aspect is getting to know music through singing and listening. Excerpts from operas (e.g. Mozart's “Magic Flute”, Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals” and many more) are told in a child-friendly manner and implemented creatively with the pupils.

The focus is on the students having fun with the music, developing new skills that motivate them and increase curiosity.
